Engineer R&D, Core Mechanical Engineering
(IIT/ NIT/ BITS Only)
Qualification : BE /B.tech / ME/ M.Tech -
Mechanical Engineering Only from Premier Engineering
Institutes.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES ARE:
CORE MECHANICAL DESIGN
1. Contribute to the definition of product features
taking into account mechanical/electrical tradeoffs,
customer needs and company goals.
2. Research, define, design, and test parts to implement
these features.
3. Create products using sound technical judgment in all
areas.
4. Complete tasks with minimal redesign, paying close
attention to detail.
5. Conduct analysis of tolerance, stress, and thermal
parameters as required.
6. Develop design objectives and schedules. Work
actively to achieve them.
TEAM CONTRIBUTION / COMMUNICATION
1. Exhibit flexibility in accomplishing a wide breadth
of assignments.
2. Work from product concept to production with minimal
supervision.
INNOVATION
1. Occasionally invent creative new ideas, which have
value either directly to the product under development
or to the company in general.
Knowledge / Skill set required:
Technical Knowledge:
* Having sound knowledge of basic mechanical engineering
concepts
* Good knowledge of Thermodynamics / Advanced
Thermodynamics / Fluid Mechanics.
* Good knowledge of Manufacturing ( idea about Tolerance
levels, Shapes and sizes)
* Having good grasp in Engineering drawing / CAD / CAM /
PRO-E designing etc.
Skills we are looking for:
- Communication
· Strong foundation required in written English
language.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
including presentation skills;
· Ability to learn new things fast.
- Leadership
Highly self motivated individual with zeal to excel and
having a penchant for creativity.
