Requirement : Materials Data Engineer

Role : Engineer

Nature : Permanent

Qualification : M.E./M.Tech (Materials Engineering)

Job Profile:
• The specifications and data team are responsible for managing and maintaining the corporate materials data and materials and process specifications.
• The role will start with a familiarisation and training phase, which will involve evaluation of legacy data and technical reports.
• In addition to the day-to-day data management a materials data engineer will support the strategic implementation of a new global materials database system and software.

Examples of typical tasks that to be done by the incumbent:
• Data gathering, analysis and collation
• Data Cleansing and database management
• Test Programme co-ordination
• Interpretation of Materials test data
• Technical report writing
• Communicate extensively with design, stress and engineering communities
• Support web applications

Hardware/Domain Knowledge:
• Good written and communication skills.
• Good Materials Engineering knowledge
• Good knowledge of mechanical test methodology
• Awareness of aerospace engine products.
• Awareness of aerospace quality requirements.

Fresh ME / M.Tech in Materials or Metallurgical engineering are encouraged to apply
