Job Description :
Eaton India Engineering Centre has
opening for a Associate Engineer –
Product Applications in Fluid Conveyance
Products group within Hydraulic
division. This Engineer has to identify
appropriate Fluid Conveyance products
like hydraulic hoses, hose fittings,
adapters, couplings etc., for a customer
quotation based upon specifications
provided by customers and products and
capabilities defined by Design
Engineering, Product Management, and
Manufacturing. Propose alternatives and
supply information as necessary to
support the sales process. Document
proposed solutions and communicate
deviations from customer specifications
to both the customer and the internal
organization.
EDUCATION :Bachelors Degree in a
Mechanical / Production Engineering
Required:
- 0 to 1 year of experience in
hydraulics industry .
- Kowledge of production and processes.
- Strong mathematical aptitude and the
ability to apply concepts of basic
algebra and geometry.
- Experience in comprehension and
creation of Engineering documentation
using Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools
such as AutoCAD, MDT & Pro-E.
- Ability to solve practical problems
and deal with a variety of concrete
variables in situations where only
limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of
instructions furnished in written, oral,
diagram or schedule form.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks
simultaneously with emphasis on customer
prioritization.
Desired : Sound Engineering
knowledge to perform wide variety of
technical tasks.
