Eligibility : Scholars with 1st Class BE/ B.Tech in
Engineering or 1st Class Post Graduation in Science/
Psychology/ Mathematics, who have successfully defended
their Ph.D thesis between 01 Jan 2009 to 30 June 2009.
Subject/Disciplines: Engineering/ Life Sciences/
Basic Sciences/ Psychology/ Mathematics with area of
research having direct interest/relevance to DRDO.
Age: Not exceeding 35 years as on closing date.
Relaxable by 5 years for PH category (with disability not
less than 40%) candidates in identified disciplines i.e.
other than Aero, Automobile, Electrical/ Electronics,
Mechanical and Chemical Engineering .Upper age is also
relaxable for Government Servants as per rules in vogue.
Post/ Scale of Pay: Scientist ‘C’, in the scale of Rs.
15600–39100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 6600 plus amount
equivalent to two increments and allowances & facilities as
applicable to Central Government employee i.e. Leave Travel
Concession, Medical Facilities, Advance for Car, House
Building and Computer, Professional Update Allowance, Group
Insurance, CSD etc.
Closing Date: The Closing Date for applicants who
have successfully defended their thesis Between 01 Jan 09 -
30 Jun 09 is 30 Sep 2009. Applicants who were interviewed
under ROSSA Scheme in the year 2008 need not apply.

format complete in all respect along with Rs.50/- Indian
Postal Order or a Bank Draft in favour of Director, RAC
payable at Delhi (Non refundable) with superscription
on the envelop Application for Registration of Students with
Scholastic Aptitude (ROSSA), to the address given below
on or before 30th September 2009
there is no fee for SC/ST, PH category (with disability not
less than 40%) candidates.Duly completed application is to
