retail and wholesale of food and non-food products
through its subsidaries. It operates a retail network of
600+ shops. The Group has presence in Belgium ,
Netherlands, France, UK and Germany. It is headquartered
in Halle, Belgium.
Colruyt India is a part of Colruyt IT services. It
maintains the IT infrastructure of all Colruyt Group
services including all Colruyt shops. It develops and
maintains software applications needed to carry out the
sales and maintaineance of goods in Colruyt shops.
Linux System Administrator (Fresher)
Linux Server Level:
Basic:
* RHEL OS - Installation, Configuration, Administration
and Troubleshooting
* Application Installation and Application support on
Servers
* Server Hardware Installation and Maintenance
* Backup and Recovery - Configuration and Maintenance.
Advanced:
* Managing and Maintaining Physical and Logical Devices
* Managing Users, Computers and Groups etc
* Managing and Maintaining Access to Resources
* Configuration of monitoring and reporting functions
* Installing, Configuring and Troubleshooting of hosted
services and roles such as: LDAP, DNS, DHCP, File
Server, Virtual Server
* Server Storage Allocation and Maintenance
* Knowledge on LVMs & RAIDs
* Sound knowledge on Vi Editors, Shell Commands
* Shell script development for automating tasks
* Good personal organization and communication skills
* Excellent analytical & logical skills
* Strong social, communication and advisory skills
General Job Duties
Basic
* Creating Technical Reports, Minutes of Meetings etc
using Applications such as MS Office in English
* Transferring Technical Knowledge in English
Desired Profile
Fresher:
• Red Hat Certified.
• Any 1 programming language.
• Logical thinking.
• Good communication skills.
